Six in a Row

The Padres win their 6th in a row (and ESPN is still not paying attention)against the Cubs last night, 1-0 in 11 innings. CHP goes 9 innings, and Josh Barfield knocks in Khalil from 2nd with a line drive up the middle in the bottom of the 11th.

Petco Curse
Not sure I got my money's worth from that witch doctor. A 1-0 game doesn't mean the Petco Curse has been lifted and it doesn't make Petco any easier to hit it. We shall see. Right not its a battle royal between the happy month of May and the Petco curse. Only time will tell which one prevails.

Dull Game
My wife saw the score and immideiately thought of other dull games we have seen at Petco. Not much of a pitchers duel fan, I like at least a little hitting. Then it occured to me that because Petco is the #1 pitchers park in America, it is by default it also hosts some of the dullest games you will ever see. Calling John Moorses.
